Always wanting to be in the ‘beauty business’, since she was 13 yrs old, Cecilia enrolled in beauty school while she was a sophomore at Napa High and became a licensed cosmetologist in 1999, prior to graduating high school in 2000. She started her career at Elle Lui Salon, as an assistant and swiftly progressed to becoming a Senior Stylist, Bridal Educator, and a L'Oreal Professional Educator. During this time Cecilia was also attending Sonoma State University to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration which led to the opening of Violet Hour Hair Studio in Napa, she operated the salon for nine years and just recently transitioned to Shine Salon to focus more on her clients.
